It is disappointing when something you buy and find great use in for the purposes of work, personal use, and fun; then begins to give you trouble and no longer works. This is exactly what happened to us with our computer and 3-in-one printer. At the time we purchased our laptop and the printer, they were both top-of-the-line pieces of technology and we used them hard for a couple years. There is no question that they served us well and helped us with many things. So naturally, when the systems went down, we were upset and immediately looked for ways in which to get them fixed. We took both the printer and the laptop into a few locations that are known to have computer experts (Best Buy), but none of them could figure the problems out and furthermore, were unable to fix anything for us. Since we needed a computer and thought the one we had was trash, we replaced it. A few months later, we met Chris who said she would take a look at the computer. We thought she would just be able to clean out the computer and use if for parts; however, to our surprise she was able to fix the computer (including upgrading the software and making it wireless) and printer for a very reasonable price. ......I have a small network in my house as well as a PC that lives away from home. I was not happy with my virus protection, the speed of my laptop, or the communication between my laptop and my desktop. We called Chris at DelawarePCtech.com because our computer was becoming sluggish. She made a housecall and cleaned it up in about an an hour. I happenned to mention an older computer we had, gathering dust in the basement. It had been riddled with problems and hadn't actually been used in a couple of years. Chris took it with her to check it out. A few days later she e-mailed, saying the machine had some viruses but could be fixed and upgraded pretty easily. The price was great, and I wound up having her fix the old computer, give it a small memory upgrade and then hook up all three of our machines wirelessly. My computer cancelled items when I tried to open them and returned me to the main screen. I actually have been dealing with this for about 6 months. I had a local computer technican, whom owns his own business, look at the computer. When it was returned it was slow and did not work well at all, as time passed it got slower and almost useless for opening items sent to me. Chris gave me a quote on fixing and updating it. When I look at my computer that is having problems, I’m sure that I must look like a deer caught in the headlights of an on coming car. My computer had a “blue screen”. I was told that it was unfixable until I spoke with Chris. She was concise with her thoughts on what needed to be done. I received an estimate and the final cost was below that!
